Karin Y. Coger founded Coger Law Firm after more than two decades of legal experience, including civil and criminal litigation, arbitration, and contested matters. That experience taught her how quickly preventable issues can become expensive problems, and shaped the way she advises business owners today: be clear early, protect ownership, put expectations in writing, and make legal strategy part of the business plan, not an emergency response.
In 2019, Karin shifted her focus to intellectual property, business law, and the legal needs of entrepreneurs and growing brands. Today, she helps clients protect the names, content, systems, agreements, and business assets they’re working hard to build.
In 2022, Karin earned her certification as an AI Consultant through AI Innovisions. It’s a natural extension of her practice: Karin doesn’t just study AI, she uses it, and she has watched firsthand how closely it is tied to intellectual property. As AI reshapes how content is created, how brands are built, and how ownership questions arise, that dual fluency lets her advise clients at the exact point where technology and IP law meet. She also helps businesses develop clear, practical policies governing how AI is used across their operations.
